Pretty In Pink

Pretty In Pink Nail Art

Got another +Rocksbox in the mail!  So, of course I created another Rocksbox inspired mani.  I used colors to match the necklace, some similar stud details, then added some stamping for something extra.

Rocksbox Necklace
I love this Perry Street Isla Necklace.  The rectangle crystals give the necklace a very art deco vibe, but the hot pink and gun metal tones add some modern flair.  I wore this necklace today, with a black sweatshirt for a pop of color.  I got a lot of compliments, and that is always a good sign of a great piece.

If you'd like to rent or even buy this necklace for yourself, sign-up for Rocksbox!  Your fisth month free is on me with coupon code: lacqueredlawyerxoxo.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Wet n Wild Fergie - Heels of Steel
  • Maybelline Color Show - Pink Shock
  • Maybelline Color Show Brocades - Black N Mirrors
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Pink studs (large and small)
  • Clear rectangle rhinestones
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-603 (tribal print)
  • Rubber stamper

If you know how to stamp, then this mani is super easy.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - index in Black N Mirrors, ring in Pink Shock, the rest in Heels of Steel.

  2. Place all the studs.  Two large pink studs on the base of the thumb, and a single large stud on the base of the pinky.  The middle finger copies the necklace design with five clear rectangle rhinestones curved across the nail, and small pink studs underneath them.
  3. Use Heels of Steel to stamp the tribal pattern (BM-603) on the ring finger.  If you want the pattern to stand out more, you could stamp it in a darker color (or non-glitter polish), but I wanted the look to be subtle.
