All Hallows Eve

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!  Went with the traditional black and orange nails for today.  I used some nail wraps in this one, so you can see a nice way to mix them into your designs.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Julep - Sydney Bombshell
  • Kleancolor - Tahiti Sunset
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Black to Black
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Jamberry Nail Wrap - Black & White Stripe
  • Jamberry Nail Wrap - Sheer Genius
  • Glitter orange bow cabochon
  • Nail file
  • Krazy Glue
  • Nail art brush

Nail wraps are a nice alternative for those who love nail art, but maybe don't want to freehand or stamp.  Jamberry Nail Wrap stay on the longest out of everything I have tried.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - middle in black, thumb, index, and ring in orange, and leave the pinky plain.  Ignore my stained nail...I just had green polish on and you know how that goes.

  2. Use a nail art brush to paint on some black lines on the index finger.  Once dry, repeat this process using Tahiti Sunset as seen in Step 3 (I forgot to take a picture before I put the wraps on).

  3. Apply the Jamberry wraps (application instructions come with the wraps).  Use Sheer Genius on the ring and Black & White Stripe on the
    Jamberry Nails
  4. Glue an orange glitter cabochon bow to the bow of the middle finger.

Have a safe and fun time trick-or-treating everyone!
