Caffeine Buzz

But first, coffee.  I totally need my morning shot of caffeine to get my day going.  I love the smell, love the taste, love everything about coffee. 

 

I received this sweets stamping plate from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review.  It is an XL stamping plate featuring various yummy designs of candies, cupcakes, coffees, and more.  The designs stamp well and look great.  What more can you ask for out of a stamping plate?  The designs are so cute and delicious; I can’t wait to try them all!  They also make me hungry :)

• Wet n Wild - French White Crème
• Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Angelic White
• Ulta - Envy
• Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Cocoa A Go Go
• Julep - Jane (Bombshell)
• Base and top coats

Other Supplies:

• Born Pretty Stamping Plate - BPL-023 (coffee beans and cup)
• Rubber stamper
• Wavy nail vinyls
• Gold round stud

I wanted a simple, graphic design for this look, so I kept the embellishments to a minimum.  To create this look:

1. Apply the base colors – thumb and pinky in brown, index and middle in white, and index finger in green.

   
2. Use brown polish to stamp the coffee beans on the middle finger.

   
3. Apply a few coats of Jane Bombshell to the pinky for a brown glittery nail.

   
4. Use wavy nail vinyls and green polish to create wavy vertical lines.  This nail is inspired by the girl on the Starbucks cup.

   
5. Use white stamping polish to stamp the steaming cup on the ring finger.
6. Add a gold stud to the base of the thumb.
