I was having some serious "nail block" with this design. Initially, I wanted to do something silver, like a turquoise jewelry mani, but it wasn't working out. I cleaned off all the polish and started from scratch. I decided to try a desert or bohemian look instead. This neutral grey color was perfect for the bohemian vibe. Tan colored polish paired nicely for a desert/adobe feel, but I really like the direction I ended up with these.
This mani is super simple, but still packs a punch. I always love the black and gold combo, and the black base color really makes the gold lips pop.
I love seahorses. If I ever get a salt water fish tank, I'd want to get a seahorse. That's why I instantly fell in love with this stamped seahorse design.
Today is Independence Day, and no one loves America like the captain. These are another design using the Super Hero plates by Aiyoohehe. I went with a red, white, and blue color scheme for obvious reasons.

If you saw my Instagram post the other day, I just bought a bunch of new stamping plates from Aiyoohehe. I picked a bunch of Marvel and Harry Potter themed stamping plates, and couldn't wait to try them out. These are perfect for those who want comic book nails, but haven't mastered freehand painting, or just want to save time.
The only thing I love more than Halloween nail art...summer nail art! Start with some bright polish, add some palm trees, and you have the perfect summer nail.
As seen in my last post, water marbling can be tricky. A quick and easy alternative is this mock marble, where the polish is "marbled" directly on the nail with wet polish.
I love the look of water marbling, but it is not my forte. I definitely need to practice this skill the most. Since these nails didn't really turn out, instead of a tutorial, I'm going to discuss some things I learned while attempting to water marble.
