It's the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration at Disneyland! The Diamond Celebration décor at Disneyland is blue and silver, so that's what I went with for my nails as well.
- Princessa - Blue
- Miss Kiss - Chrome Crazy
- Sinful Colors - Queen of Beauty
- Base and top coats
- Large and small clear rhinestones
- Large and small blue rhinestones
- Makeup sponge
- Mickey Mouse rhinestone charm
- Silver caviar beads
- Nail art brush
- Krazy Glue
Amazingly I painted this with my non-dominant hand. I actually think I'm better at painting straight lines with that hand since I have to go slow and concentrate more. To create this look:
- Apply a dark blue base color.
- Thumb - rhinestone Mickey heads
- Use one large and two small clear rhinestones to create a Mickey head on the corner of the tip.
- Index - Glittery jeweled nail
- Use a makeup sponge to create a silver glitter gradient.
- Add various blue and clear rhinestones, and silver caviar beads.
- Middle - Disneyland banner
- Paint a silver chevron stripe on the tip of the nail. You can use a nail art brush, masking tape, or nail striping tape.
- Use a nail art brush to paint a "D" with silver polish.
- Add a large clear rhinestone to the point of the chevron.
- Ring - Mickey charm nail
- Use a nail art brush to paint two silver vertical lines.
- Glue the Mickey head charm on the center of the nail (see finished design).
- Pinky - "60" nail
- Use a nail art brush and silver polish to paint a "60" on the nail.
- Add a small clear rhinestone to the base of the nail.
Here's a pic of my nails with Sleeping Beauty's castle in the background. I posted this, along with a few other Disney pics on my Instagram account if you aren't following me yet :)
