Shimmery Sea Scales

I just got these Magical Creatures nail charms from +Bundle Monster, so I had to try them out!  There are mermaids, unicorns, masks, and diamonds.  I went with the mermaid so I could use the blue holo polish I just got too.

Polish Used:

• Bundle Monster Holographic Micro Glitter - Blue Me Away
• Rimmel 60 Seconds Extreme - Mania
• Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Angelic White

Other Supplies:

• Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-502 (scales)
• Rubber stamper
• Iridescent rhinestones (various sizes)
• Gold studs
• Gold caviar beads
• Bundle Monster mermaid charm
• Krazy Glue
• Makeup sponge

I wanted to put the mermaid charm on my ring finger, but I recently had to shorten my nails, so the thumb is the only nail the charm would fit on properly.  To create this look:

1. Apply a blue holo base color using Blue Me Away by Bundle Monster.
   
2. Use a wet makeup sponge to create a gradient using Mania by Rimmel.  I thought the polish was going to be a darker green/blue color, but was pleasantly surprised that it was quite transparent, so the glitter could still be seen through.
   
3. Use white stamping polish to stamp scales (BM-502) on all nails except the thumb.
   
4. Add a mix of iridescent rhinestones, gold studs, and gold caviar beads to the ring finger.
   
5. Glue the mermaid charm on the thumb.
