Paint nails I must. Today is a Intergalactic Star Wars Day, so Star Wars nails were required. I've done a Darth Vader nail design before, so this time I went with Yoda. I think my subconscious was eagerly awaiting this day, because my last few designs have been space related.

- Ulta - Limelight
- Miss Kiss - Chrome Crazy
- Base and top coats
- Nail art brush
- Nail striping tape
- Makeup sponge
You can do anything on the non-Yoda nails. I was torn between leaving them plain or doing different embellishments on each one. I decided to do some silver stripes for a clean, but space-y feel. To create this look:
- Apply a black glitter base color.
- Paint Yoda on the middle finger with a nail art brush. Use green polish to paint his head first, then go back with black for the facial details.
- Use 2-3 pieces of nail striping tape to create diagonal lines, then use a wet makeup sponge to dab silver polish over the tape in a gradient, then remove the tape.
