Birthday Swank

The special request for birthday themed nails was a two-look request...a bright birthday nail, which I did last time, and a chic black look.  For this look, I just kept a black and silver color scheme, with some stamping, glitter, and nail tape.

Polish Used:

• Wet n Wild - Black Crème
• Miss Kiss - Chrome Crazy
• Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Iced Silver
• Sinful Colors - Queen of Beauty
• Wet n Wild Fergie - Rock n' Roll
• Base and top coats

Other Supplies:

• Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-H19 (Happy Birthday)
• Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-H20 (candles)
• Rubber stamper
• Nail striping tape
• 5mm silver square stud

I'm not sure which look I like better, the pink or the black birthday version.  To create this look:

1. Apply the base colors - ring finger in Chrome Crazy, the rest in black.
   
2. Apply a few coats of Rock n' Roll to the pinky.
   
3. Add a glitter gradient using Queen of Beauty to the index finger.
   
4. Use nail striping tape to add horizontal stripes covering the entire ring finger, paint in black, then remove the tape.
   
5. Add a 5mm silver square stud to the base of the ring finger.
   
6. Using silver stamping polish, stamp the Happy Birthday (BM-H19) on the thumb, and the candles (BM-H20) on the middle finger.
