The Endless Summer

The Endless Summer Nail Art

Summer is slowly winding down, so here's an Endless Summer mani to brighten the remaining days.

The Endless Summer Movie PosterThis was actually a suggestions from my mom.  I haven't seen the movie myself, but I've seen this poster before.  Maybe I'll have to look for it on Netflix or rent it on Amazon.

I kept the other nails simple, and let the poster nail be the focal point.  Since only one nail has a design, this was a really fast mani to paint.  It was hard to paint the fine details of the silhouettes on my short nails, so the image got a little smudgy, but it turned out okay.

To create this look:
  1. Apply a pink base color.

  2. Using a nail art brush and white polish, block out the space for the sun and sand.  This will help the yellow and orange stand out better.

  3. Paint the sun yellow and the sand orange.
  4. Use black polish to paint in the silhouettes.
