Eye See You

I first saw this design in InStyle Magazine.  I have a thing for eyes...I like to draw them a lot when I doodle, and it is always my favorite part to paint when I do pet portraits.  

I had to cut off some of the design because of my short nails, but it is still a fun design.  It is also very easy to paint since it is pretty much just circles and lines.  If you have long nails, then you can add the lines above the lashes that you can see in the picture to the right.  You can also use different colors.  I liked the pink and black, but I made it a little more sparkly.

Polish Used:

• Sinful Colors - Pinky Glitter
• Revlon - Bubbly
• Wet n Wild - Black Crème
• Wet n Wild - French White Crème

Other Supplies:

• Nail art brush
• Dotting tool
• Base and top coats

To create this look:

1. Apply a pink base color to all nails.
2. Apply a couple coats of Pinky Glitter to add some sparkle.
3. Using a nail art brush and white polish, paint ovals on the moons of the nails.
4. Using a nail art brush and black polish, paint a large circle in the white to represent the iris, and paint a line above the white of the eye.
5. Using a dotting tool and black polish, dot 5 dots along the tips of the nails for the lashes.
6. Paint black lines connecting the dots to the eye to complete the lashes.
7. Use a dotting tool and white polish to add a highlight mark to each iris.
