Stamping is always a fast and easy way to create fancy nail designs. Here, I mixed a floral pattern with a bird on top. Overlaying stamps allows you to create more advanced designs in different colors, without having to reverse stamp or leadlight, so it doesn't take much time.
- Sally Hansen Triple Shine - Pool Party
- Kleancolor Duochrome 3D - Bright/Moody
- Gap - Midnight Purple
- Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-225 (floral pattern)
- Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-401 (bird)
- Stamper
- 2mm round purple studs
- Base and top coats
The bird stamp reminds me of those swallow tattoos. Although I don't have any tattoos of my own, I really like how they look. Maybe one day I'll get one. Here's how to create this look:
- Apply a blue base color to all nails.
- Using the Kleancolor Bright/Moody Duochrome polish, stamp each nail with BM-401.
- Stamp the bird from BM-225 using Midnight Purple, onto the middle finger.
- Add a purple 2mm round stud to the base of the rest of the nails. Seal on with a couple coats of clear top coat.
