As always, I paint both hands differently. I had another set of rhinestone bow charms that I wanted to use on my other hand, so I kept the color scheme the same, but I switched the black and silver from the Bow Tie Affair - Part One.
- Miss Kiss - Chrome Crazy
- Wet n Wild - Black Crème
- Wet n Wild - French White Crème
- 3D Clear Alloy Rhinestones Bow Tie Nail Art
- Krazy Glue
- Base and top coats
As with the other Bow Tie mani, you can use a nail brush or French tip stickers for the tips if you want a cleaner alternative. Here's how to create the look:
- Apply a white base coat to all nails.
- Swipe a curved line of silver polish across the middle of each nail. You don't have to paint all the way to the tip because this will be covered with black polish.
- Repeat the process with the black polish, leaving a thin line of silver, and painting all the way to the tip.
- Apply a couple coats of clear top coat.
- Clean up around the nails with acetone and a nail brush or q-tip.
- Working one nail at a time, dab some Krazy Glue in the center of the silver line, and place a bow.
Note: It is best to glue on the bows at the last minute because they tend to get in the way of doing things, i.e., fixing your hair, getting dressed, etc.
