If you are lost when it comes to nail art, Nail Art Society is here to rescue you. With a membership, each month they'll send a box with nail polish, tools, and nail art accessories. I saw a promo to get your first box free, so I decided to sign up. The first box I received was for the month of June.
The June box contains:
- Polish Color: One of five shades of Ciaté polish mini
- Accessory: An exclusive NAS glitter pot for a sparkling accent nail
- Pedi Set: All the tools you need for a perfect pedicure
- Bonus Gift: Trilipiderm All-Body Moisture Retention Crème
I got a red polish in my box. It is a nice bright red, and the small bottle makes it perfect for traveling. I can't wait to see what comes in the July box! I actually got an extra June box, so a giveaway might be in the future :)
For my first Nail Art Society creation, I decided to do different glitter placement arrangements on each nail. Here's how to create the look:
- Apply the base color.
- Apply the glitter! Working on one nail at a time, add a coat of slow drying top coat and place glitter on the wet polish. You can try something different on each nail, or make them all the same. Here, I did two rows of glitter on the side, a full coverage nail, alternating glitter and empty space, and a single row of glitter down the middle. Once all the glitter is in place, seal it on with top coat.
In outdoor, indirect light, you can see the iridescent quality of the glitter a little more.
Here is a shot in full sun.
