Bow Tie Affair - Part Two

Bow Tie Affair - Part Two

As always, I paint both hands differently.  I had another set of rhinestone bow charms that I wanted to use on my other hand, so I kept the color scheme the same, but I switched the black and silver from the Bow Tie Affair - Part One.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Miss Kiss - Chrome Crazy
  • Wet n Wild - Black Crème
  • Wet n Wild - French White Crème
Other Supplies:

As with the other Bow Tie mani, you can use a nail brush or French tip stickers for the tips if you want a cleaner alternative.  Here's how to create the look:
  1. Apply a white base coat to all nails.
  2. Swipe a curved line of silver polish across the middle of each nail.  You don't have to paint all the way to the tip because this will be covered with black polish.
  3. Repeat the process with the black polish, leaving a thin line of silver, and painting all the way to the tip.

  4. Apply a couple coats of clear top coat.
  5. Clean up around the nails with acetone and a nail brush or q-tip.
  6. Working one nail at a time, dab some Krazy Glue in the center of the silver line, and place a bow.

Note: It is best to glue on the bows at the last minute because they tend to get in the way of doing things, i.e., fixing your hair, getting dressed, etc.
